The CEMA Family Private Event will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 (5:00-8:30 pm) at the TELUS WORLD OF SCIENCE

Open to CEMA Members and family (members living within same household) and/or an additional guest

This is a FREE family event that will include access to:

CuriousCity: Early childhood gallery (ages 6 and under) with hands on giant water table, child size airplane and the unique river valley tree house.

S.P.A.C.E.: Visit our moon rock and learn the story of its amazing travel to earth in the Object theater, take a moon rover for a spin, or sit back and enjoy the Aurora lights.

Science Garage: Our hands-on SteamEngine maker space gallery visits the world of engineering. Join our science staff in the maker space and see what new engineering building challenge is taking place. Hands-on building activity included in full facility rental.

The Nature Exchange: A beautiful gallery where you can become natural history researchers, simply by exploring your own backyards!

Health Zone: Health Zone takes you through some of the different factors that influence

your health.

Arctic Journey: Learn about the North, experience the “Shiver room” or try your hand at dog sledding. The sights and sounds of the Arctic come to life in this interactive exhibit.

Engage with Science interpreters: Our science staff will be available to answer questions and interact with attendees.

Zeidler Dome: State of the art planetarium – sit back relax and take a digital tour to the moon and beyond or learn about the Indigenous sky. The Zeidler Dome theater has a

capacity of 200.

Three – 27 minute Show “ Legends of The Northern Sky”: 5:30PM, 6:30PM, 7:30PM
